ncbrewing.org’s Win Bassett named as new Executive Director of North Carolina Brewers Guild

(NC)—Feb. 13, 2012—Win Bassett, an attorney, writer and North Carolina beer advocate, has been named the new Executive Director of the North Carolina Brewers Guild. He will assume duties of the position today, February 13, 2012.

Bassett is contributing writer and education coordinator for All About Beer magazine and its World Beer Festivals, and he is co-founder and writer at http://ncbrewing.org. He is also interim secretary of the North American Guild of Beer Writers. Continue Reading »

Thanksgiving #ncbeer giveaway entries

On Thursday, November 24, 2011, ncbrewing.org held its Thanksgiving #ncbeer giveaway, sponsored by TJ’s Beverage in Carrboro, North Carolina. Between Twitter and Facebook, we received fifteen entries and enjoyed watching the submissions trickle in throughout Thanksgiving. It was exciting to see so much #ncbeer being enjoyed on the holiday, and we hope that your friends and family similarly enjoyed the #ncbeer experience.
