Heinzelmannchen celebrates 8-year anniversary

PRESS RELEASE

(Sylva, NC) – On April 24, 2004, Heinzelmannchen Brewery opened its doors to the public in Downtown Sylva. Beginning with 4 flavors of handcrafted beer and 2 sodas, Head Brewer Dieter Kuhn has expanded their selection to all grain beers choosing from a list of 18 flavors.

Available in Western North Carolina establishments on tap and in two-liter German growlers from their location, Your Gnometown Brewery is proud to be a part of the North Carolina craft beer community. Heinzelmannchen is 1 of 60 breweries across the state with 18 in Western North Carolina and 18 in the planning stages.

Kuhn and his partner, Sheryl Rudd, express their thanks for all the support they have received over these 8 years. “The patronage of our customers that walk through our doors and request us on tap at establishments, the restaurants that carry us and the many folks that we have worked with over the years have brought us to this celebration and accomplishment. We feel truly blessed to be able to turn a dream into a reality and make it to this point in our business’ life!”

To mark this momentous occasion, Kuhn and Rudd invite you to their anniversary party on Saturday, April 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. They’ll be celebrating with food made from “Your Gnometown Cookbook,” beer/soda specials and prizes throughout the day. Rudd stated, “We opened on Greening Up the Mountains and always enjoy celebrating on this day of Sylva’s Downtown Festival. So, plan on celebrating with us and enjoying a day of artisans, music and fun!”

Heinzelmannchen Brewery is located at 545 Mill Street on the back street of Downtown Sylva. For more information call 828-631-4466, or visit www.yourgnometownbrewery.com.
